At MSSH, a 28-year-old pregnant woman with spinal tuberculosis and severe spinal cord compression underwent complex spine surgery at 28 weeks of pregnancy. With meticulous surgical planning, fetal protection and multidisciplinary care, she recovered well and went on to complete her pregnancy and deliver a healthy baby.
